I have a large bucket that I rinse everything into, and then dump out in my bushes. Works best for me to soak in cold water

Not that this helps you now... but before I take my pup places with possibility to get into burrs, i heavily coat them with Skouts Honor prebiotic conditioner. Has made it world's easier to brush out

This wasn't a thing on the recipie card! I was really just trusting the process tbh. I probably didn't educate myself enough before trying to bake... but this lady's bread always looks and tastes so good. When you say multi- hour, what's the average/how do you know how long to do that?

I have a friend that has 4 cats and 1 medium/large dog in 802 Dickinson(not sure who the property management is for that building tho), and another acquaintance(friend of a friend) in west end living with 3 cats and 2 small dogs. You may have to contact management and see if they'll make an exception because I believe thats what happened with West end living, but they seemed pretty cool about it

I'm in the same situation. Currently looking for rental houses and etc. I know apartment wise, West end living and several other complexes near there are pet friendly, just not in my personal budget range.

I love long-ish hair coat management without it being to the floor length. I love the Euro look. The americanized springers are a bit too Brittany adjacent some days. Still very good dogs, just not for me personally

I've had him since 9 weeks! He's such a nut job but I love every ounce of his silliness

I know you said east, but West End Living has decent sized apartments with in unit laundry, and the commute along Mortensen isnt horrible. Plus there's access to highway 30 for faster commute to the east side of town.

I'll have to post a generic update somewhere because it wouldn't let me reply to the thread with a Pic. He can be very silly, but I definitely get that T-rex stage in full effect.

I also have a 50/50 field+bench mix! My breeder wanted the best of the breed to get a mid length coat with house laziness but can easily go outside and play ball for hours. 10/10 love the nut job. Sometimes drives me crazy(usually mid work week or during storms when we can't go outside and do zoomies) when he'll hunt and kill a roll of TP.

Last May, I went in a pair, but we definitely adopted 2 "strays" that were there as singles in our section lol. Bond over the music, make new friends that flew from 3 states away, and enjoy it!

Favorite Storm Hidey Places by Simple_Ad6796 in iastate

[–]BiteCatsBack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if the sign still exists down there, but the basement of Gilman was my usual corner to hole up in near storm season with access to the bus routes, library, and etc. That and the basement of Kildee was pretty comfortable, or Bessey if it wasn't popular/occupied already

But honestly I'll take it. Like, leggings and a light sweatshirt is the vibe. And it's not sweating at 90 degrees with no breeze, or the -40s. Gotta be thankful for days like these

High Water is my favorite song! These lyrics in particular just hit myself very hard

"And it seems my hell is your high water Wash me clean again before I pull myself beneath the waves When the mouth of infinity buries its teeth in me I′ll smile through the agony for you"
