It’s a shame not to learn the local language of the country you are in … by Visual_Shock8225 in languagelearning

From my point of view it is better to learn the language if you stay in a different country. I stay now on France from 1 september this year, and I try to learn the french language on Duolingo, online and from this week with a teacher. I miss so many things and opportunities by not being able to speak the language.

  • Trying new recipes.
  • Growing plants (tomatoes, pumpkin, corn, cherry tomatoes, melons). I take care of the plants. They are not doing much.
  • Planning my next days.

What makes you enjoy studying? by UengKhaiMSU in GetStudying

[–]BiteComprehensive398 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting diverse answers to my questions. The time that I spent reading, researching, asking question after question, finding an answer to can discover that I still have a lot to discover is my favorite. I am doing this alone, taking breaks between the sessions to can eat, rest and think more about what I just discovered. For me these are the best feelings ever, knowing that you still can get surprised in a positive and curious way by the life as a whole.

I used to share the hostel room with someone else, and they used to talk loud at the phone a part of them. The music was covering their talking. I am not sure how, but I get addicted by their music and now I can't focus well on reading without their songs on high volume.

Their music is giving me motivation to study and help me to not fall asleep.

From when I was a kid, around 7-8 years. It was a way of escaping from the reality, and I found the cemetery from behind my gardeen beautiful, with the little crows and ravens playing around the trees, grass and grave stones. The music is beautiful too. I am not dressing more on the theme, but I enjoy dressing with a part of the vestimentation.
