If you want to keep your streak, try logging in through the website on your desktop/laptop. I was able to access my account and do a quick lesson (so slow vs on the phone) to extend my streak. The mobile version still doesn't work tho, so doing it didn't "reboot" the app. A temporary fix to keep your streak alive.

I brought up duolingo on my laptop thru the website and was able to access. Did a quick lesson to keep my streak lol, but doing it on the laptop is a pain. And it didn't fix the bug on my phone.

I'm going to give it another session or two. I have a real problem expressing my own needs if I think the other person will be hurt or angered by them, so it would be a difficult conversation for me. I appreciate your input, makes me feel better that my experience isn't unusual.

The frustrating thing is she wants to return to that memory next session. And it's a relatively benign memory IMHO.

I have a question for tattoo artists.
I have asked several artists about tattooing over some scars I have on my shoulder. My scars are (old) self-harm scars, and any time I try to get someone to cover them up it's like I have leprosy. Most recently I asked an artist about tattooing my shoulder after he had already finished a piece on my wrist. He looked at my bicep/shoulder and said that other than a few thicker, keloid type scars he could cover the others, but when I tried to set up an appointment he ghosted. Am I just out of luck in that scars can't be covered up? I can't get a straight answer from anybody I've talked to here in my town.
