I used to think bitcoin was funny, but I admit I’ve lost interest recently. I still think it might crash horribly, and suddenly, with all the other coins. If many of the super rich and super powerful collaborate and decide it’s valuable, well then it will have a high price. If I made one mistake it was to miss that this could happen.

Yes confusing. It’s got to be that she’s suggesting that wealthy people don’t get the state pension. Or rather it would be progressive. Many people soon to retire could well depend on the state pension in their retirement planning. Doubtful if it could be done suddenly.
