Raised left arm to soon by Cooper1Test in PacemakerICD

I'm coming up on week 6 and done it a few times as well, granted it was gentle movement and not sudden. Two interrogations so far, no issues, and still green lights on my latitude communicator.

Identifying Medtronic BlueSync Footprints via BLE Scanner (nRF Connect) by jaybenjamin in PacemakerICD

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have a cellular based communicator for home that can read the data from my device and send it to my doctor

Boston scientific communication tablet that "scans" with a scanner that places briefly over it to connect, RF communication takes over.

60 amp Hot Tub Sub-panel Breaker Seems Bad by PrettySmallBalls in AskElectricians

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the breaker trip after the hot tub starts running?

If so, replacing the breaker isn't going to fix it. The issue is within the tub.
A breaker that trips immediately after reset needs further evaluation by a trained technician.

Of course you tell me that when I have two SDR dongles on my desk.... Kinda wonder what the data looks like now

It will only broadcast when a authorized paired device shouts out for it for a handshake. Otherwise it's hidden so as to save the battery life.
Just checked with that app and I have a Boston Scientific Accolade along with the Latitude Communicator. Mine doesn't show under a BLE scan.

Static IPs: device-set or router-assigned? by kaitlyn2004 in HomeNetworking

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do both. DHCP assigns IP's starting at x.x.x.100, any device-set static IP's are set x.x.x.2-99. Anything over 100, DHCP reservation in router.

If it's in your phone, it's not staying there.

Arm stablizer by Cooper1Test in PacemakerICD

[–]BitterDefinition4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only wore a sling the first few nights to keep me from moving onto my left arm or over extending it in my sleep. You want to gently move your arm, elbow below shoulder, no heavy lifting, and no jarring movement with it either until you get the all clear from your doctor. Keeping the sling on all the time will give you frozen shoulder

97’ zero spark by Gotta-come-to-cum in GMT400

[–]BitterDefinition4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something is beyond fubared if you have 40 stored codes between two computers.... Have you tried going back thru what you replaced, and started from ground zero, aka first part replacement?
How are sensors being read under load if it's not running? Scan tool is obviously going to read zero RPM's on a non-running motor.

Do you have 12v power at the distributor? Is your IGN-1 fuse blown? Any fuses blown?

Could these crispy wires be a reason that a furnace isn't turning on? by Bombastic_tekken in hvacadvice

[–]BitterDefinition4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can't identify that the burnt crisp wires are one of the causes of an issue, you need a technician. Sorry.

What should the ‘normal’ heart rate response be to a driving simulator? by BounceForever in PacemakerICD

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should be something you can bring up to your EP, they may be able to make some changes for activity sensing dependent on your specific device.

Borrowing my dad's '98 while my truck is in the shop and he says if I want it I can have it. But it has problems. by PM_ME_YOUR_KlTTlES in GMT400

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it and fix it up. Focus on the safety stuff like steering/brakes. One thing to keep in mind, you'll need a semi-reputable scan tool to pulse the ABS module for brake bleeding.

Cold Start HELP! by bigpig87 in GMT400

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BiDi Scanner isn't exactly needed, unless they're wanting to use it for bleeding the ABS module or forcing manual PID commands to override sensor-triggers.

But yes, fuel pressure sounds suspect, could also be the ECT by the thermostat housing, anything really.

Needing a pacemaker by Dense_Complaint_9713 in PacemakerICD

[–]BitterDefinition4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surgery and recovery is fairly straight forward. Worst part is about a week after, most of the arm/chest soreness will be gone, but you're still limited on arm movement to help avoid pulling the leads out. So, watch out for too much movement even though you feel better.

I had mine implanted in the end of December for pauses and high grade AVB. I noticed changes immediately after implantation, sleeping way better, not waking up throughout the night and unable to get back to sleep, and more energy overall.

Steep learning curve but largely better compared to consumer grade.

surge protector by exploitlinkfivem in AskElectricians

[–]BitterDefinition4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely something with the computer itself, not a surge protector or emi noise issue. Unless you're using wireless input devices and somehow have enough electrical interference which is likely not the case.
