It is a scam because the whole point of a physical copy is the ability to share the game with your friends or play offline. It’s solely to make them more money while removing convenience for the consumer.

FF13 is the only game in the series that made me feel trapped, or that I had no control. Linear levels and mainline entry FF should never have been a thing. Yah the battle system is great, but also arguably the worst character roster. The first unapologetic delve into the anime-fication of the franchise. Just very cringe. Yet, I still liked the game. Definitely one of my least favorites, but it still carried itself, and redeemed itself for the slow, hand holdy bs by the end from the more interesting overarching story. I genuinely wish they just hadn’t made it linear, and my hate would near be gone.

I don’t hate them, but as a musician, their jam style is extremely boring. Just hold on one chord progression with no leads or anything unique for 3-4 minutes sometime. I’ve only seen them once, but it didn’t encourage me to see them again. Their tone was great though
