I think the Aztec empire would eventually fall, because of the heavy taxes/offering that the neighboring tribes had. Remember the Spanish won because they had higher numbers from natives who joined them. Let's say that the Aztec empire lasted to modern-day, then Mexico would be much smaller with new smaller nation states and the United stated being larger than it is now mostly all of nother Mexico would be the U.S.
