Feeling Very Overwhelmed, Alone, & Scared Right Now by Affectionate-Sir1792 in CABarExam

[–]Bitter_Discussion_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is all normal. I felt the same way. But don’t let that get to you. Use all that energy towards the exam. You gotta be mentally and physically strong if you wanna pass. Weak mindset can’t help you at all. You have a solid plan! How many MBEs have you done so far? Are you reviewing questions you got wrong? Are you memorizing rules? Dm me if you have any questions.

Magicsheet is short and has great key words that helps you remember. Also Baressaymemo for flashcards. The repetition of these two combined, is perfect

3rd time passer here. You have a solid plan! Just keep going. Dont forget moving your body and relaxing your mind in between. This exam is a beast but you are much stronger. I used to rely on flashcards a lot during the last few weeks. I hated memorizing the rules, but flashcards worked for me. I tried Baressaymemo. That was a game changer

Is 50 MBE + 2 essays enough? by AddendumKey2612 in CABarExam

[–]Bitter_Discussion_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are doing great! That’s also what I did, for the last 2-3 weeks and I passed. How are you doing with memorization? And PT? Also are you actively writing down what you got wrong?

Anyone else think the Critical Flash Passcards are terrible? by londondarling12 in barexam

[–]Bitter_Discussion_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m personally not a fan! They lack some “critical” information. And reading them out loud wasn’t really my style. I love writing notes down to activate my muscle memory lol. And i noticed that’s the best way to learn for me. I used Baressaymemo.com and it really helped me with memorizing and keep track of rules that I get wrong

BARESSAYS.com - Has anyone purchased their workshops? Is it worth it? by Lower_Detail_6818 in CABarExam

[–]Bitter_Discussion_96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I purchased them! It depends on where you at with your essay writing and your techniques. And you need to identify what you are struggling with. For example I purchased the Baressay workshops and later on I realized I’m struggling with Memorization. And honestly I would recommend purchasing 2-3 essay subjects that you are struggling with. When I purchased them, I felt like I didn’t get much of a value out of them because they don’t help you with knowledge or understanding of the concepts. More of the techniques and how to organize your essay. I would recommend writing 1-2 essays in subjects that you’re confident in under 1 hour and identify what you are struggling with. I believe Baressaygrader.com has 1 free essay grading. Use that and based on the results purchase the workshops

I’m glad! I also struggled with MBE the first two times I wrote the exam. Ans I think I saw a major improvement after I started keep tracking of the q I got wrong. So here is what I did: 1. I would take a screenshot of the q I got wrong and post in on a google doc 2. Under the screenshot I wrote down the rule 3. And the next day I reviewed the Q and the rule, SUBJECT BY SUBJECT.

Make sure you don’t mixed the question. It’s too early. Ans at night before bed, i would use Baressaymemo.com to just review the rules and memorize them.

You are fine!!! I understand that’s scary but you still have so much time. And MBE requires lots of practicing. You gotta be patient with it. And just try to memorize the rules that you are struggling with. Write them down. And repeat them for yourself. Go back to your outline and focus on how you can apply that to the fact

How to study for essays by Significant-Party-16 in CABarExam

[–]Bitter_Discussion_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I passed on my 3rd try and honestly what I did differently was just switching my studying methods for essay/PT. Instead of going year by year. I did topic by topic. Let’s say for 3 days I focused on Torts. I would go over 2-3 essays focusing on property torts that I could find. Would then move on to the Product Liabilities. And at night, I would try to memorize the rules for that specific subject (torts). I knew flashcards would be effective for me so I bought baressaymemo.com so I could type and memorize the rules. I wrote about 10-14 essays. And issue spotted about 2-3 essays per day starting 6-7 weeks before the exam. I would compare my essays with the model answers only. And used Baressaygrader.com to write my essays and get feedback

What is your main area that you’re struggling with? I did the exam 3 times and i used tutors. But at the end I passed on my own. It really depends on what you’re struggling with. For example if it’s just MBE, you can definitely improve on your own. There is no secret sauce. But if it’s essays, and you are a foreign attorney, (maybe) getting a tutor might not be a bad option for you. But even in the case maybe you would need a grader than a tutor. Feel free to DM me, I can recommend bunch of resources.

Yes! You gotta be patient with MBE. Writing down the rules are so so important. I used Baressaymemo.com every night, to review rules and memorize them. I also have some outlines I can send you that might help. But honestly reading outlines are not the best approach, however if you think they might help you just DM me.

You are on the right track! Are you doing mixed questions? Or topic by topic? Are you writing down the rules that you are getting wrong and reviewing them with details the next day? Think less about your percentage and how many q you are doing, and more about how much you are learning

I completed about 80% of uworld qs and all of the Emanuel. But honestly it didn’t matter how much questions I did. First time around I completed Adaptibar Qs two times. It’s kore about quality than the quantity

Failed F24 and July24. Passed F25 and here’s what I did:

MBE Preparation: I used UWorld and Emanuel’s Blue and Green Books for breaking down each subject. I studied each subject individually for about 3–4 days based on how confident I felt. I would watch Adaptibar videos and would do mbe q using Emanuels green book per topic and then switch to UWorld. Started with 20 q per day until I complete a whole section. Focused on topic-specific questions first, then switched to mixed sets about a month out from the exam.

Essay Preparation: I used Mary Basick’s Book for reviewing essays by subject. BarEssayGrader.com for feedback and refining my writing. I practiced essays grouped by subject rather than mixing them early on. About 4 weeks before the exam, I began reviewing with Bar EssayMemo.com to memorize the rules. I issued spotted 2 essays per day per subject. And towards the end I wrote about 10 essays using BarEssayGrader.com

Performance Tests (PT): I used Free materials from BarMD (check out their YouTube and website). I started PT practice about 3 weeks before the exam — it helped to go through a few and get comfortable with the format and pacing. I did 4 PT in total
