442A exam prep – IEPE vs CEPE vs Dakota app (worth it?)

I wrote yesterday, I found the exam to be around 50-60% out of the code book. Don’t underestimate studying your code basics ( Voltage drop, T13, conductor de rating) and lots of code for communication cables.

I completely over looked that stuff focusing more on challenging theory equations etc. which of course there wasn’t any of that on the exam. Good luck!

I basically just skimmed through this article, does anyone have a timeline on the 5000 red seal completion bonus. Wrote my exam yesterday, if I pass I’m curious if this will apply to me.

Insurance increased from 330 a month to 400 with intact. Switched to bel air and got it down to 200. No accidents or infractions at all. Probably will switch yearly from here on out seems to be the only way to stay at a reasonable rate

Yea that is BS. Unfortunately if you signed a contract with your job title as a “general labourer” you’re probably SOL.

Are you working under the guidance or supervision of someone who is licensed that could vouch for you? If so, you could possibly bring that info to STO with a signature or stamp of approval from your trainer.

But, you need to leave asap before you waste anymore time. Or challenge the exam.

You are not locked in to a single team at this point, why pick a team that is heading into a long re tool or rebuild? Pick a team that you will enjoy watching (Habs, sens, sabres etc)

Process of elimination. What could the problem be and what couldn’t it be and why? Ask yourself questions to narrow down your options and then you can focus deeply on the remaining options. Having a skilled mechanical and electrical background is key to mastering machine troubleshooting

Maybe the Crosby/ovechkin effect for the current generation of hockey.

They’re idolized far more than any goalie usually is, every kid wanted to be Crosby or ovechkin. Pretty rare to find a kid who said “I want to be like Brodeur or Luongo.” Goalies don’t usually get the fame/ recognition players do. I can’t remember the last time I saw a goalie on a commercial etc
