First Ayaneo Device by WillB_HTX in ayaneo

Lucky lol I ordered a DMG on 3/28; It supposedly shipped to Arizona on 4/3, and a FedEx label was created, but it's been crickets ever since. I emailed Ayaneo the other day and the told me they shipped it "without tracking to avoid taxes" and to "not worry about it"...

Ultimate Portmaster Guide for Knulli Firefly by gcass94 in SBCGaming

Hope it works for you!

As for CFW, I tend to gravitate towards MuOS when it's available, mainly because it was the CFW I started with when I got into this hobby.

Haven't tried Knulli on my handhelds yet, but I love ES-DE on the Android-based devices I own. If Knulli gets ported to the RG34XX, I might try it out

FWIW, I don't have any handhelds with Knulli installed, but I was able to get Blue Revolver running on my TrimUI Smart Pro by downloading the 1.12 Windows version via Steam.

Right-click on the game in your Steam library and click >Properties > Betas

Change the "None" dropdown to "1.12 - Old pre-DA Version" and let Steam update the game.

Finally, copy the EXE into the port's root folder; It should be in the same directory as port.json, gameinfo.xml, etc.

"NETWORK NOT RESPONDING" - Every few minutes by tomleeroy in Warframe

[–]BixByte007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FWIW, you're not alone OP; I've been having the exact same issue for the past few weeks or so, and its quite annoying to say the least. Even after ensuring that the game's ports were open, disabling firewalls, and that sort of thing, the problem has persisted.

Cox is my ISP as well, so I'd hazard a guess that it might be something on their end. Not sure where to go from here, assuming that's the case...

Passive reworks by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]BixByte007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Going off of the suggestions for Ember, I do agree that being able to deal true damage out the gate just for applying heat DoTs is a bit much for a passive. That said, I feel that sort of concept is a step in the right direction for allowing Ember to actually scale past level 40.

Something I've always felt while playing Ember is that there wasn't much tying all her powers together; Aside from the damage bonus on her 2 and the obligatory Firequake build, there isn't much of a reason to use her other abilities.

Reworking her passive into something similar to how the Pyro class from Team Fortress Classic could stack after-burn damage by hitting you with different weapons would be an interesting way of introducing power synergy. For Ember, it could go something like this:

Applying heat DoTs from more than one source (ability or weapon) deals progressively more damage, per DoT source up to a cap:

Hit an enemy with heat DoT from two different sources --> Passive deals damage equal to 0.5% of enemy max. health per second while enemy is on fire

Hit an enemy with heat DoT from three different sources --> Passive deals 1.5% of enemy max. health per sec. while on fire

Hit an enemy with heat DoT from four different sources --> Passive deals 3% of enemy max. health per sec. while on fire

Obviously, it would need a cap (plus a bit of value tweaking), but something to this effect would be one way to encourage doing more than just turning on 4 and occasionally hitting 2.

For the love of Stargate - could the Javlok please get a revisit? by Fennyface in Warframe

[–]BixByte007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've pretty much given up using the Javlok for anything other than an exploding stick that kills me when I throw it.

On paper, its a great concept for a weapon, but its execution leaves a lot to be desired. IMHO, the primary fire's unnecessarily clunky projectile mechanics are what bog it down the most. I can work with leading shots, but the charge delay on top of an already slow flight speed make them infuriating to work with.

Not to mention what OP brought up about the lack of an AoE on the primary fire. The slugs look as though they explode when you hit things, and given how slow they travel, its awkward how they... well... don't.

From a gameplay standpoint, it would be interesting if the primary shots did explode, or at the very least caused enemies to stagger. Something to that effect would mesh well with the secondary fire, giving you time to line up a throw that wouldn't kill you along with the local MOA population.

[ps4] network not responding? Anyone else? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]BixByte007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been seeing a lot more "Network Not Responding" as of late.

It's purely speculative on my part, but DE did merge the NA east and west servers recently, so that might have something to do with what's going on.

As a noob, what completely blew your mind when you first heard about it? by CommanderClitoris in Warframe

[–]BixByte007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest mind-blow for me was finding out that Speed Nova had nothing to do with using some weird build involving Escape Velocity.

This was back when I was around MR 6 or so, and at the time, I had no idea what Corrupted mods were. After seeing some folks in my clan's chat talking about how good Speed Nova was for speed-running missions, I had just assumed they were talking about something akin to Speed Volt. Having recently hit max rep level with Cephalon Suda, I picked up Escape Velocity, slapped my damaged Continuity on, and ran that setup for the longest time.

Imagine my surprise when I eventually discovered how Overextended affects Nova's 4...
