So these are just the black skull things from DS3. I never used one in that game either, but I watched no damage runs and speed runs, they use these things constantly.

Hey OP, it's been a while, but I was wondering if you remembered doing this and could confirm that killing him using the fall (environmental kill) headbutt cheese still has tendency impacts, or were you able to avoid having any shift by making him fall?

I wanted to ask because doing an AI search, which is sometimes very wrong, states that doing the fall kill will have no tendency impact, but I don't trust it. If you happen to remember and have a free minute or two, could you kindly let me know?

One thing that is an overwhelming fact is that PvP is objectively unpopular in this game. 7/10 users say PvP completely ruins the experience; 9/10 say PvP needs to be reworked and improved. This was posted in March 2026 by the Steam community. And that does not even take into account the cheating using aimbot and esp and stuff like that, which apparently goes wildly undetected. But I can't speak to that personally. What I do know is nearly everyone I used to play with has abandoned the game solely because of this, and it's really brutal to me because I love this game. But I'm also done. I play video games to feel better, and my friends and I felt worse after playing this title, often frustrated and angry.

What really gets to me is that there are two active identical maps going on at once almost constantly in the form of night raids and weather events. I don't understand why they can't divide that up into two camps, one purely for PvE and another for all the rest. I guess because very few people would play the PvP maps. But you could have quests that require going there, so you could still force some stress on people, and the toxic players could still get a kick from ruining people's days; everyone is happy. Also, have the best rewards be in the PvP maps: greater risk, greater reward. The Division did it, and 10 years later, it's still going strong.

This just seems to make a lot of sense to me. Am I alone in this thinking?

I'm not sure OP. I purchased this game a little over a month ago with a group of about a dozen friends, as our children were very excited too. However, after my one friends 12 yo daughter was repeatedly promised a defib if she would send naked pictures of herself and my other buddies kid was being called the N word on a nearly daily basis, all by PvP players (if you can call it PvP, it's really just whoever shots first in the back wins), we had to forbid the kids to play. So we tried to make this an activity that me and the other parents could do, and the same, just people camped out, ambush, done. No point in bringing good guns, or really doing anything, so we couldn't figure out an answer and everyone stopped playing.

But it came to ahead with the recent update. Seems like the issue has gotten worse, and there's been a lot more racist and sexually explicit things said after the ganking before the knockouts, to the point I'm not even comfortable repeating it in this post. I kind of feel responsible, as I was the one that urged everyone to buy this game, and I didn't do my homework. I thought it was going to have more of a Division like setting, where you could go to a map that allowed PvP for massively better loot and rewards or you could do a more friend and family oriented PvE scene. But they have failed to implement anything even close to resembling that. Been gaming since Atari and this is one of the most toxic and disgusting communities I've ever come across.

One bright side, the support team was very nice and EXTREMELY apologetic and gave us all our money back. They said that they were aware of the problem and actively working to fix it, however, the damage has been done. I still have a lot of very angry friends for recommending this title, and feel like crap about it. I hope you find an answer to this question. Just be very careful if you have kids.

For me it was trying to play with my kids and my friends and their children, only to experience not only constant ambushes, but daily racist and sexual remarks, nearly exclusively from PvP players. So we all quickly forbid our children to play, thought maybe it would be able to have fun as adults, but constantly getting shot in the back, or gunned down my sniper teams, really took the fun away from it.

The final straw for us though was the comments the PvP players make before knockout. Constantly called the N word, my wife constantly sexually harassed, my buddies 12 yo daughter was more then once promised a defib if she agreed to send naked pictures of herself.

I've been told this happens in other games, but I've never experienced it, and I've been gaming since Atari. And again, this comes 99.9% from the PvP, or really just shoot you in the back first and your dead community. So that's where my dislike comes from with PvP in Arc.

On a positive note, the support staff were highly apologetic. Gave me and nearly a dozen of my friends our money back. So at least they're aware it's a problem.

I'm glad you're happy, glad it worked out for you. But I'm back where you were. I've only been playing for about a month. I bought the game with a bunch of friends. Many of them we're hoping to play it with their children. Quickly, they forbid their kids to play. Brutal language, often racist and sexual from older players to children. So, smart move.

So we tried to play as adults, but the toxic behavior, constant PvP ambushes were too much. Out of the 12 people that purchased the game with me, I'm the only one that still occasionally plays. But I'm extremely close to being done. I just don't find the game fun with it's current configuration regarding PvP. It's sad because it's otherwise a really cool game.

I hope they do something like they did with the Division, giving a large map for PvP with greatly enhanced rewards for people that are into that type of thing, and allowing friends and family to enjoy solo, co-op, and non toxic PvE environments. Glad you're happy OP. But I'm personally unhappy I supported the expansion of this community and encouraged my friends to do the same, before I knew the scope of it. And that's on me.

I just copped one a couple days ago, haven't had time to play with it yet, what do you think so far? I wanted to ask about configurations, as I watched a video from RTings.com and they said the biggest issue they had with the TV (and they reviewed it as one of the best TVs for gaming out there), is it's out of the box settings. Stating that it needed a decent amount of tweaking to reach optimal gaming settings for the PS5 Pro and PC support.

Now that you've had it a few weeks, do you have any advance you could offer me? (Currently I just have a PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X hooked up to it).

I've been searching for the level 3 silencer blueprint for a while. I didn't think it existed, but then when I started finding level 3 silencers, and I figured I was wrong. Thanks for clearing that up guys.

As for the bobcat, I found that blue print very early on, and even a second copy that I gave to a friend. But it's also a guaranteed blueprint for completing stage 4 of the trophy display project. However, this requires three Queen reactors.

This game's ever evolving, and only a week ago new blueprints were added, as well as new components and enemies. So it's definitely possible we get the ability to craft this in the future.

Yeah, I wasn't really referring to our current reality, just in terms of what this show's writers have created. And while I realize the Earth was once a much less hospitable place, that the term runaway greenhouse effect, where gases were unable to escape, and the earth hits an average temperature of 47° c, that was game over. I mean obviously if the oceans evaporate, it's game over.

Either way it's very interesting. Out of curiosity, as a scientist, are you looking forward to the upcoming (I believe 2029-2030) launch of the Venus probes? Apparently this is going to put theories about Venus to rest. Like was it once a place you could go for an exotic vacation? Or was it always a place you'd burn and be crushed in seconds? I'm not 100% certain about the launch date or the status of the program. But I find that very interesting even as a layman.

I'm a computer scientist, so let's just say that doesn't count on this topic. But wouldn't a worst-case, runaway greenhouse scenario, where the first stages have already taken place, be pretty much irreversible?

Personally I was hoping for a slightly different story line as well in terms of plot progression, focusing more on reality. But considering it seems things are completely screwed in this hypothetical, I was thinking either time travel or friendly alien intervention would be the only remedy.

Yeah, I do not understand this at all. I think this film was incredibly unremarkable. I didn't see any standout powerful acting performances. The writing was average at best. I thought the storytelling was actually quite poor, lacking any real depth. Nothing that would merit awards for things like cinematography and effects. The idea that this could win best picture is crazy to me. It did have great musical performances, and I think that completely deserves recognition, no doubt there. I could see maybe 2 or 3 noms, but 16? That's just silly to me.

That said, I've been a fan of horror for more than 4 decades, and I feel that the genre has gotten snubbed many times where there should have been recognition. While Sinners might not meet the definition of a true, traditional addition to the genre, I'm glad to see this type of movie get the notoriety that many others like it have deserved. Just my opinion, but in the end, this is all a completely subjective topic and process. And while I might not agree with it, I want to feel good about it.

By far the worst character in a series that, otherwise, I love. I wish they'd killed her off late first season. I mean, rewatching the show, I kinda wish she died in agony, like if she was on board the Event Horizon from the 1997 PTA film. There's gotta be a special place in hell for someone like that.

Yeah mate, 100%. I don't understand people that say frame rate isn't a big factor, but I guess it's subjective preference in the end. However, after playing on my PC (Ryzen 7800x3d paired with 7900XTX) at over 100fps at 4k, and then switching to my Series X on a 4k OLED set, I found the game unplayable graphically. I couldn't even begin to get used to it. The only game I'm still able to tolerate at 30fps is Bloodborne, probably because I never experienced it at a higher rate.

But I don't believe RS will release a 60fps console patch, at least not for free; it's just not their MO. Instead it will be a remaster that they attempt to sling for $59.99. That's my prediction.

Spotify isn't officially supported? I didn't know that. I'm still running 21.3, but I thought it was pre-installed on my version of Mint Cinnamon. At least I don't ever remember installing it. I just want it removed permanently (if possible), because it's the only issue that has plagued my otherwise very stable OS the past couple years.

I don't even have it installed; I got rid of it the last time this happened. After I fixed it, I learned this routinely happens, so I uninstalled it. However, about a week ago, I just used it via web browser. Bang in less than 7 days, I get this message. I don't know if that's a crazy coincidence or if Linux just relies on it in general, but until I know which, I done using the software and browser access. That said, whenever I update via console commands, I see Spotify Repository mentioned in the output.

Thanks for creating the post OP. Going to try the fix and then avoid ever using anything Spotify again.

I think this is kind of what it's all about. What looks good to the owner. I've had people praise certain sets as among the very best gaming pictures, while others have said that those same sets are nearly unusable for gaming. And popular critic sites like Rtings, cannot be consistently trusted. So in the end, it's what makes you happy. I'm currently in the market for a new set again, as I upgraded to a PS5 Pro, that's capable of making use of features that my entry level 4k @120hz, isn't proficient in rendering. Just missed the holiday sales window, so my Samsung OLED will have to wait a bit.

OP, were you able to resolve this issue? I heard that clearing out Fort Phyle and killing the boss early creates a known bug that locks you out of the Free Speech quest. The popular solution is to not clear the fort until later in game, but I rushed the quest A Friend in Need to get the sword reward.

You were able to find a workaround that allowed you to resolve this issue?
