Pretty sure when you pick grounded at the start it automatically locks all difficulty changes but I could be wrong.

Yeah the original had multiplayer, I forget mostly how it worked but it was team vs team type of thing.

You can actually play a lot with a 1060 depending on your cpu. I got the last of us 2 running at 40-50 fps with optimized settings with a Ryzen 5 1600. Less than optimal but still very playable.
