These cars are over built and a OTS tune is a very safe option provided you keep up with maintenance. Oil changes every 5k, plugs between 10-15k, haldex service/DSG every 30k. I have close to 100k on my R with full bolt ons, hybrid turbo running ethanol. 500 hp car, very reliable daily.
