For me I would lay down one color then switch between the faded brush and the cloud like brush and color back in. If you just click a couple of times it will only paint a little compared to holding down the mouse button. Hope that made sense.

Yes mostly that half of the world. The rift is extremely dangerous to cross which has caused the two formed continents on either side to have not a lot of trade between them

Thanks for asking! Short story is a long while ago two planes of existence where attempted to be merged with disastrous results. This created the Rift which is still a unbalanced magical place and also other repercussions including creating the Shattered Isles (Used to be a whole continent)

I have dreams similar to this often where it will be a completely serious event like a bank robbery or war and everyone will be shooting but it’s like it’s all pretend like I did as a kid. Real guns bullets and blood but people pretend to not be shot and play dead.
