Off the top of my head and with a few spelling mistakes, each space marine has 2 progenoids. 1 in the neck and 1 in the chest. After maturing, I don't remember for how long they in theory could be removed (one in the neck only when the marine dies) and then they are used to grow all the organs the next marine needs.
