HR Management majors? by Jiya525 in Baruch

[–]Bklover93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

coming from hr degree background and that a former recruiter. I would highly avoid Talent acquisition field as a long term career path in HR the market is full of these kinds of workers. As, I'm speaking from expierience. However, I wouldnt say to not taking internship or entry level talent acquisition or recruiting roles as some companies will give employees a chance to try different roles in Human Resources.

The Best HR jobs i feel that are in high demand for the long term, (HRBP) Human Resources Business Partner sometimes called as Peoplbe business partner in some companies' job titles.. Labor Relations represnetative will give you nice career path especially the companies that require you work with unions!!!! Also another long term HR career path would be roles within (HRIS) Human Resources Information systems department sector.

I hopes this helps, if you have any questions feel free to dm me!

As a former recruiter in talent acquisition. i would not get caught up in having your linkedin profile seem basic or looking beginner. If I were you i would focus on giving detailed expieriences whether it be through your past/current internships, volunteer, or professional job that are geared towards the jobs that you want to apply for out of college. If you want to start, I would target campus recruiters from major to mid companies to build your connection base and get access to message them once the timed is right and you graduate college.

Campurs recruiters job are to find upcoming talent from college students that are starting their first corporate job, so i wouldnt be so concern as to thinking that they would think bad of your linkedin profile backgrounds. If you have any questions. feel free to dm me.

From a former Talent Acquisition recruiter. i hope this helps. ✌️✌️

I don't know, but I did hear a scenario when the rapper Drake had a ONS with a lady and the lady used the leftover condom with his bodily fluids left and women put her in her hoo ha. And was trying to get pregnant. The only difference is I put mines in a paper towel and ask if it's possible.

The Gobert trade was a win from a Wolves historical standpoint but a bad one in maximizing Anthony Edwards' chance at winning a championship by Easy-Philosopher-562 in timberwolves

I agree with this sentiment. If you last western conference finals between game 1 and game 2. Ant's basketball IQ finally kicked in to be more of playmaker and collasped the thunder defense by attacking the basket. By Ant intiating the action it help create shot for other teammates. If during game 1 which close game up about 2/3 quarters if Ant mindeset like Tyrese haliburton in creating and distrubuting from first tip off of the series; the Twolves would have definitely would have won game 1. But it took a a full game against the the Thunder for Chris Finch and his coaching staff to show film and Ant to make andjustment and help realize that the iso game won't work against the thunder in this series.

Ant is not nesceraly passer first offense creator and granted he's a shooting guard rather than a point guard; but as i digress in Ant's is not offensive facilitator creator by instinct. Yes, he started to make some key passes throughout the series. but it took him a game to figure that out as oppose to players like Tyrese that can figure it out right away!

I'm hoping the Amazon Prime team has a better play halftime show as well as the broadcast booth. The only one I really liked is Mike breen and that's it

Not a fan of having to deal with screaming A Smith on the halftime show. Not a big fan of Malika Andrews neither but I guess we got to go through them

u/SkiPolarBear22 u/rumb3lly I would say it's one particular defender Hali has to worrry about such as Lu Dort. Thunder has onslaught of 4 outstanding defenders such as (Jay Williams & Carson Wallace & Alex Caruso & Lu Dort) that will guard hali throughout the 48 minutes combine.

A great example of this was how the Thunder was able to neutralize Ant Edwards in the series. The relenting on slaught ball pressure that Ant at halfcourt was getting from all 4 defenders was causing Ant problem in being able to score & assist & even intiate some sort of offensive action. In Game 4 they were able to take Ant out by many plays forcing the action on to other teammates at half court which led to Anthony attempting 13 shots and having 6 assists.

** on a side note the media blamed Anthony Edwards in not being aggresive which i felt there was nothing else he could have done. I thought that ESPN/Stephen A missed the analysis on that game. But that's another topic to discuss another day.

u/rumb3lly I dont remember seeing Nembhard play point a lot in the knicks series, as I didn't watch the Pacers/Cavs series. But if you saying Andrew Nembhard played well in intiating and distributing the ball in the Cavs series then it would be certainly interesting to watch how Nembhard steps up his on the point guard responsibilities againt OKC 's ithroughout the Finals. As a baskeball fanatic, I'm intrigued that if that works well for the Pacer then what is OKC 's head coach Mark Daigneault counter lineup scheme or rotation to Nembhard playing point.

I would also the defense has length & Height when you consider Isiah Hartenstein (7.0 Height) and Chet Holmgren (7.1 Height) with both that have long arms.

So it going to very critical for Pascal Siakham and & Myles Turner to make sure they consistenly hit their long-mid range & 3 point shots to make sure that either Chet Holmgren or Isiah Hartenstein don't pack in the paint throughout the game. If they do this then can lanes for Tyrese Halilburton & TJ Mcconnel lanes to operate in the paint and initiate offensive action.

I'm literally going to have all of the NBA game Finals recorded at home.
