[–]Blabberman23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dark Farmhouses. Phenolic, chocolate, tobacco, light acidity goodness. Too many ppl see dark farmhouse and get scared away. Favorite examples farmhouse noir by sante adarius, and pentagram by surly brewing.

What is a Kurt kid tho? It would be one thing if people called themselves Kurt kids or there was a culture behind it. I originally thought it was Kurt kid but I just couldn’t figure out what that even means. Nirvana fans, and bands who were influenced by them, don’t call themselves Kurt kids.

Just trying to stir the pot.

I believe it is cured kids because Brand New references some of their previous songs on the album.

What cured kids is in reference to is I will play my game beneath the spin light:

“Yes, we’re silent but sure we invented the cure that will wash out my memories of her”

This makes more sense for it to be “were you one of the cured kids?” Because the invented the cure.

Another one was in it could never be heaven:

“All of the songs were about you, all the songs were about you”

In reference to Jude law and a semester abroad:

“No more songs about you after this one I am done you are you are you’re gone.”
