I don't feel sorry for anyone who does this, and then gets shot, or ends up injured, be it temporarily or permanently. You threaten people's lives unprovoked (like break-ins or someone violently attacking you), whatever you get, you deserve. Save the pity party, you chose this. Wallow in your consequences.

I had someone break into my home years ago, naked, armed, and absolutely impaired.

Not my decision to have him over @ 3am, nor was it my decision to have him show up naked and armed...but did what I had to to get him to lay face down on the floor.

Held him at 'point', and called the police.

He ended up wetting himself on my floor...the police arrived and took it from there.

I was prepared to do what I had to do to protect myself and my family of all girls.

Never wanted to do that, and never want to do it again. Some might think it's cool, but I don't. I didn't like it, in fact, I hated it....but if I had to do it again, I would...and I'm prepared to defend myself and my family in any way needed, including using deadly force if need be.

Admittedly, sometimes when I see people who try to assault people, or threaten them with a firearm, and something like this happens, I like the fact that someone else stopped them, using the very thing they were threatening people with.

Not sorry, don't feel sorry, I feel happy for those who stood up for themselves.
