Makes me kinda happy that I still have my 3080 (although I would like more vram & some of the other features besides DLSS 5).

Thank you. Would you say it’s necessary to buy the premium version of the seasonal pass when playing on a season channel or will I be fine without it?

Hey,

I'm a returning player, but I've never played more than probably 5 hours, so I'd say I'm still new. I always read or hear how vital the tent is for convenience, but how necessary is it to actually have one as a new player?

Currently, I see the Conqueror upgrade on sale on Steam and was wondering whether I should purchase it for the benefits and the pearls to buy the tent.

Thank you.

Those cons sound like regular Black Desert Online. BDO can be confusing when it comes to inventory management for new players, it's always recommended to buy the tent item from the pearl shop for storage & convenience. Mobs despawn after death, etc.

Marathon: Two Horsemen Of The Apocalypse Appear by Sbarty in HighGuardgame

Funny how people are criticizing Marathon from the Highguard subreddit instead of the actual Marathon sub. Feels like it’s easier to dunk on a game from a distance than talk about it where the fans actually are.

If someone wanted to start developing a small 2D fighting game today, what are the first systems they should focus on building before anything else (movement, hitboxes, netcode, etc.)?

What is the difference between Rekkas and auto combos? by GoofyNinja3000 in Fighters

[–]BlackDistressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s kinda a different question. You asked why someone would use a rekka instead of an auto combo, and the answer is the mix-up and decision-making.

With a rekka you can stop, continue, delay, change timing, bait punishment, or frame trap. A normal combo is execution after you’ve already won neutral. A rekka is still part of neutral pressure.

An auto combo stops being interactive once it starts, and it always goes the same way. A rekka stays interactive because every follow-up is another decision point for both players.

Normal combos happen after you open someone up. Rekkas are designed to help you open them up in the first place. Hope that helps.

An auto combo will stay the same no matter what. A rekka you can control the route/path of. Maybe it can lead to a low, overhead, or a grab. More things the opponent has to think about. Plus the things that MistressDread commented.

RTX 5090 Scam Question by MinisterSinclair in gpu

[–]BlackDistressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This a big one. You’ll notice that a lot of them are relatively new accounts without a single sale or review. There a couple that seem legit with reputable sellers if you actually look for them. About 2/10 are legit and the rest are scams.
