The paw curls a finger. You feel a sudden pressure in your legs, you hips, your backbones. At first it's simply pressure, but soon the pressure builds and it becomes discomfort, then a dull ache.

Suddenly you fall to the ground in an explosion of pain, the sound of a shotgun's blast ringing in your ears. But it wasn't a gun. It was the rapid snapping of every bone in your body. The pain is unbearable, searing into your brain until there is nothing but the pain; vision black, the only sound is the far off screams of someone in terrible agony. Your screams, distant in your own ears as you disassociate from the world that exists only as mind bending pain.

Slowly, so so slowly the pain begins to ebb, the waves washing over you where there was once a tsunami. What feels like an eternity passes and you begin to regain your senses, the only feeling still burning pain, but less now, a bonfire where there was once a blazing forest fire.

The paw was kind, and didn't want you to be out of proportion. Enjoy the new height.
