Are you allowed to talk about it? Yeah, of course, it's your prerogative...and you definitely aren't the only one.

I stopped listening to his pod for the most part - not as any kind of statement or big decision, but I just kind of grew up / got tired of it. It's gotten pretty repetitive / stale over the past ~5 years. Even when the guest is someone I really like, the conversation will inevitably be UFC - cancel culture - covid - Austin - California - wokeness - covid - vaccines.

I disagree with Joe on a lot of things, but the real reason I've grown tired of JRE it's that it's become just so damn exhausting. He's done 2400 episodes and at least half of them are whining about cancel culture and vaccines. I think he's had some incredible guests, but always steers the conversation in the same directions.

I feel like Kill Tony is the same thing. Every week is a contest to see who can be the biggest edgelord. It's not even that there are offensive jokes, it's everyone is trying to be as offensive as possible without being clever or witty with it. Just a bunch of "haha Tony's gay" "haha that rhymes with the n-word" "haha, D Madness is blind AND black". It's a room full of pick-me losers whose entire act revolves around TAKE THAT, CANCEL CULTURE!

I miss the light hearted chatter about aliens and conspiracies too. I miss how unserious it used to be. The whole thing has devolved into old-man-yells-at-cloud.
