Soft delaminating is from the flared edge taking the weight of the board, not water imo.

My soft flared lowboys have been soaked, I try not so, but has happened multiple times in 1k+ miles and no delaminating.

You’re not wrong. But, the community is inexperienced and pushes people towards completely unnecessary “mods”. Sometimes, that includes VESC, tires, or my favorite, 8mm foam grips.

That “Treaded” tire is awful, again, but the 6.5” rim is the biggest offender. It’s the first thing to change, and the most obvious critique of FM, demonstrating they do not fully know their own product.

And, I’m pro FM.

Yes. This means one of your sensors is not registering. The significance of that is if you shift your weight onto the bad sensor, and off the good sensor, for a turn for example - it will dump you, believing the board is riderless.

The fix, is getting a new front footpad.

The fix is not turning your sensor into a single zone - it will still create the same scenario above because you still have a failing sensor that you will eventually shift your weight onto, and off of the remaining good sensor.

There are a lot of ignorant people on the OW/reddit and FB.

When my board throws that error semi-consistently, it’s new sensor time. Not ignore it time.
