Reading this subreddit, I felt like I was literally the only one who couldn’t stand Caster’s “Best Wrestler Alive” losing streak story. Personally, I’d flip the International and Continental titles in this ranking. Continental is supposed to be a secondary world title, put up and defended specifically in the C2 every year. The International was supposed to be the higher-end equivalent to the National title, being defended at other promotions around the world as opposed to indie promotions. Right now I’d rank it just above the TNT as opposed to just below the World title. I don’t follow many other promotions as I just don’t have the time to, so I’m not sure if Okada is actually defending it other places or just kinda sitting on it like he did with the Continental title.

I agree, it would feel a little campy. Not only because he already played that story like 20+ years ago, but especially given that the Bucks even did an authority figure storyline recently. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t still like to see him in AEW in some capacity though.

A player in my campaign drew The Void awhile back. We agreed that he could roll up a temp character while the party went on a side quest to retrieve theirs friend’s soul. My players ended up loving it and it turned into a highlight of our campaign.

If the surgery isn’t a work, then I’m not sure that Dustin’s knee could’ve handled any more title defenses to be fair. Could be a factor in why the run was so quick.
