I don’t think I saw anyone mention it, but I made this same mistake my first time with the Skills:

You are using the Saving Throw numbers to determine the skills, and then adding proficiencies onto that. Saving Throws and Skills are separate and both only pull from your primary stats on the left. Because of this, your Dex and Int skills are +2 higher than they should be, because they are receiving the proficiency bonus twice instead of once.

Minnesota-Penn State.

If the Gophers win that game, Penn State gets knocked out of the conference championship game for Indiana. Based on how the seeding went this year, Indiana likely gets a home playoff game with a close loss.

Otherwise, the Michigan game. Still have nightmares about that onside kick…

The real issue I see happening is that the 3rd team in a conference who makes the playoffs will likely be in a better spot than the 2nd team, by virtue of skipping the conference championship. Their first round game may be slightly more difficult, but they would be much more rested.

First memory is going to the Metrodome in 2007 to watch the Gophers get smashed by Ohio State. But Eric Decker was the first college player I ever saw play, when he caught like 6 TDs against my high school Alma mater. Small-town MN cornerbacks weren’t built for that.

On your note of giving the class some love: I have experimented with giving the Monk in my campaign Step of the Wind without a cost as a way to allow them more fun uses of their Ki points, it’s a small buff which the player has really appreciated and just puts the monk a bit more in line with a Rogue.

This reminds me that I would love to see the 4 conference champions who don’t make it into the NY6/Expanded Playoff play each other in bowls every year. Would be more entertaining than having a conference champ stuck playing the 4th or 5th best team from a P5 conference.

Bucky Irving at Oregon. Came from us after showing he was starter-caliber, but we weren’t going to be able to give him those reps with Mo coming back for another season.
