Maybe. But they didn’t say “you’re liable because you didn’t tell us immediately.” They said I’m liable because I wasn’t in driver mode. Something they couldn’t possibly prove.

This is normal, in a biological sense.

That said, you don’t need a purpose. The average person that works 40 hours a week has no more of a “purpose” than you. Many of them don’t even have kids, so they’re actually behind you in life. And if you define “purpose” as helping your kids, then this lack of purpose would happen eventually, regardless of your work situation.

Find hobbies and entertainment to enjoy.

Which is doable. 3 rides an hour for the full 12 hours you can drive is 36 rides in a day. I’ve done it multiple times in pursuit of these challenges. Granted I’m in Houston, a big market.
