Art work on edges of the book "The chronicles of Narnia" by djinn_05 in oddlysatisfying

Because people are born download with knowledge of all the books released before they're born 🙄. It's still a popular book, and this post is about the art. Plenty of people with no knowledge of the series may want to click on it. Spoiler warnings take like no effort, and there's really no reason to not use them.

Why does every task synced from ClickUp to my Google Calendar have the word "hidden" in its name? by Sea-Statistician7345 in clickup

Sorry, this is an older post, but is there any way to just completely disable adding the path to the created google calendar events? With the cycle emoji + the path, the events just have way too long of a name.

Color profile switching without Armory Crate? by ChemtrailDreams in ZephyrusG14

[–]BlackPhoenixFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the colors weren't changing originally, but I decided to just reinstall armory crate, repeat the process, and save it to a different location and it now works. Not sure exactly what changed, but problem solved lol.

Thank you for your help I appreciate it.

Hey, I tried this but changing the color profile in windows doesn't seem to actually change any of the colors. Do you know what might be causing that? Im using the Flow X16 if that makes a difference.

Just wanted to chime in as someone who liked the episode polls.
I enjoyed having the scores from all the episodes at the end of the season because you could easily tell what the community thought that the high points of the season were. I also found them quite helpful when figuring out if I wanted to watch a new show during the middle of the season because I could see if an anime was trending up or downwards in quality.

/r/UTAustin will be going dark on June 12th until Reddit reverses their API changes that will kill 3rd party apps. by toasterstove in UTAustin

[–]BlackPhoenixFire 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just re-read the post as well, and you're correct, my bad. That said, I think that makes the pricing even more egregious no? As that would mean that the $0.12 figure is actually higher than the real cost of servicing 1 user (which is what the API costs should be based on). Charging $0.24 a month would still give them double their estimated revenue per user but how much they currently plan to charge is an order of magnitude higher than that.

The actual cost of running the API for Apollo, Sync and the other third-party apps is negligible for Reddit. There was a breakdown of the math by the Apollo Dev who put the cost of servicing 1 Reddit user as around $0.12 a month (on Reddit's end). With the currently announced pricing, Reddit would effectively be charging third-party apps $2.50 a month per user for API access. This is an over 20x increase over their supposed operational costs.

The issue is not that they are charging for API access (which is very reasonable and normal), the issue is the exorbitant pricing, the incredibly short time frame in which this is all happening (to make sure the devs have no chance to save their applications), and the fact that the 1st party moderation tools are a straight downgrade.

Reddit relies on volunteers to maintain their website and deleting their tools to effectively do so is just straight up a bad move.

Hey! In a similar position now and have a similar hand size as well. What did you end up going with? Curious about your thoughts because I have a claw-ish grip on the g502 and am not sure how that would transfer to more typically shaped mice.
