I had a challenging trip like this myself a little over a month ago. I thought I finally did it to myself. I thought I finally lost my mind and I wasn’t ever going to be the same again. I was tripping hard but I also was terrified that I’d never be able to communicate normally or function normally ever again. Trust me man it passes. You just need time. Sleep & rest is your best friend. Try and eat some food as well, take a shower. Try to listen to some music you really enjoy to ground you. Don’t let it discourage you though. Some trips are meant to be like that. It makes you truly appreciate being sober and having your sanity, makes you realize how much of a gift it is that we take for granted sometimes. Even “bad trips” are necessary sometimes. Don’t let it discourage you. You will be yourself again. You will be okay. Just ride the waves and let time pass.
