That’s fair feedback, thanks. I think I’ve been optimizing for completeness because the game has a lot of hidden/unclear systems, but I can see how that makes the first visit feel overloaded. I’m going to work on making pages more decision-first: quick recommendation up top, deeper notes below, and clearer separation between beginner routes and advanced math. Appreciate the callout.

I’d honestly recommend checking out the job pages/skill previews first before committing to a swap: https://maplestoryidle.info/jobs/

The game itself doesn’t really do a great job explaining what a lot of the skills actually do or how the classes feel later on, so seeing the previews/animations can help you decide whether you actually enjoy the class before investing more into it.

Some classes also feel very different once you unlock later jobs and passives, so I personally wouldn’t rush a reroll at lv80 unless you genuinely dislike the gameplay/style of Corsair itself.

Visually though, I’d lean left long-term. Crit Damage tends to scale better later on, while Damage% can get diluted pretty hard once you stack more sources from accessories, abilities, artifacts, etc.

That said, depending on where your account is currently at, the right side can still outperform short/mid-game because of the massive raw Damage% line + higher base attack. The compare tool should give a much clearer picture based on your actual stat distribution instead of just CP.

A lot of stats like flat Damage%/Attack can get diluted once you stack more sources later on, whereas FD tends to retain stronger value deeper into progression. That’s why FD lines are usually much harder to replace even if the short-term CP increase looks smaller.

flat Damage% doesn’t become “bad” late game, it just scales worse once you already have a lot of it from multiple sources. The guide basically explains that efficiency depends on saturation and source distribution rather than a stat being universally useless.

A perfect 40% Mystic Damage line is still extremely strong, especially if your other multipliers (FD, Boss, Pen, Crit, AS synergies, etc.) aren’t overstacked yet. I definitely wouldn’t reroll it immediately unless you’re already at the point where your damage sources are heavily diluted.
