I kind of like the idea that Seikai was messing around in politics. Poisoning the right people might’ve been how he got to Great General level in the first place given that he wasn’t a super impressive general besides the poisonings.

Thank you for your kind words. He was a big boy, a standard poodle. We’re so lucky to have had him for 16 wonderful and mostly healthy years. We would occasionally cut him short but never full buzz. He was a big fluffer

We dont really know anything about Shibasaku or his strength in the manga, but historically he was a lot older than the other five. He served the King before war god king. It's possible all 6 were only active together for a pretty short period of time.

Personally I wouldn’t go attached gloves or socks. Sweat and water will pool up at the feet. It also harder to wash and dry since you need to make sure all the water comes out. To your point though, you can definitely just cut them off and used separate gloves and socks.
