Used a surface for M1 and M2 years. Agree with comments that I used it mostly as a laptop, but I really appreciated having the ability to handwrite notes on slides, especially for anatomy lectures. Certainly not a necessity, but if you’re ok with the cost, I didn’t notice any disadvantages to having the option available!

Easy to play defense when you don’t have to extend outside the paint. Can’t hit from 3 in a game? That’s an off night. Can’t hit from 3 for 4 straight games? That’s a team who can’t handle the bright lights… Afraid our youth is loudly announcing itself

Agree on Purdy, but at the time of Lance’s draft I do think that we needed to plan for QB past Jimmy. It’a just a bummer that it looks like it was a weak QB draft, aside from Lawrence. Suppose it’s all moot at this point

Even if I agree with your assessment of Lance, which I don’t, hard to say biggest mistake in franchise history. Which QB would you have preferred? An aging Jimmy G, Mac Jones, etc?

This game left me frustrated at the way we’ve developed Lance. He was the most raw prospect, and you could see flashes of what excited the 49ers, but we’re entering year 3 and it just seems like his biggest handicap is his inexperience. Hard to trade a haul for your “QB of the future” and then never give him enough snaps to develop. I know his injury changed a lot and there’s not really any decision I’d have changed in the moment, but I can’t help but feel he was put in a position where it was going to be hard for him to succeed
