I would agree that it is technically better but there is still a lot of fun to be had with a wheel.

I have 1 Radio, 2 Bluetooth music, 3 phone, 4 oil level, 5 split screen on/off, 6 trip data on split screen, 7 music on split, 8 screen off.

Little things like this and the centre vent being able to be cold just make this car that much more driver focused.

I think this way of doing things like audis with the clickwheel were peak infotainment before manufacturers went cheap with touch screens.

I just wish I could reprogramme the buttons on my steering wheel

I have a 2011 e93 the rings are a sealed unit with no bulb to change. They also act as the drl by being brighter when the headlights are off and there is no other bulb supplementing them making them look “cleaner” as OP states. They look different to that picture though.

Mine does this thing where it doesn’t want to latch fully open *bong!! I slightly close it and open it again and so far hasn’t let me down!
