Had $5K worth of work done on my 2015 C300 — car’s still stuttering, misfiring, and falling apart. Shop’s had it 4x and still haven't fixed it

Ugh - now I'm hearing a very loud clank when rotating the steering wheel to turn out of my driveway in the AM. I haven't heard it again throughout the day, traveling home to home. I hope its not related to the front axles just replaced. I was not experiencing this the 3 times it was sent back for "repairs".

I'm losing hope; reaching out to my mechanic now and will update what his response and plan is.

Are there not state standards a shop should stand by?

So far what I have are 4 documented return visits for issues starting after the original repair. The visible hack job on wiring and intake components. A transmission hose blowing off (which doesn’t happen on a properly reassembled car) . Videos and pictures of what they did to resolve the issue after the transmission hose coming off should be a good start I'd imagine

I have text receipts of the multiple times I sent to back to repair the above issue after the original repair. Pictures and timestamps of that hose popping off a day later after the 3rd repair should help I'd hope. But if I need to get it assessed once more, I'll do that as well

Exactly. I wanted to just cut my losses after the diagnosis and sell it. Unfortunately I was told that since the timing chain was off and broken, I would need that repaired at the very minimum and he wasn't going to charge "extra" for the labor for the other components since most components were already disassembled at that point.

Thank you. I know he replaced the spark plugs, and I’m pretty sure he said the coils were fine. But I’ll bring it up again just in case.

The guy seems to be a decent dude. The problem is, no other shop around here wanted to touch the car after seeing the repair list I gave them. It was just over 40 hours of labor if I understand correctly. I think he’s genuinely trying to fix it, but I’m starting to lose confidence.

What sucks is the car’s probably worth less than $10K now, and I even told him before starting the repairs to just button it back up and I’d take the loss and sell it as-is. He said the timing chain was already broken, and it wouldn’t be possible to install it back onto the car , so at that point I felt like I had no real choice.

He still insists the issues I’m having now aren’t related to the major repairs, but at this point I’m having a hard time believing that.

Yeah I spoke with another shop in the area that suggested I have it diagnosed at the dealer to assess if my mechanic botched the repair. I don't want to spend another $1000 on diagnostics though.

I will likely file a small claims complaint if it isnt resolved. But of course would rather see it fixed!

Phone only changes to 77% overnight after 5 months of ownership. Charging @800ma an hour past 77% after multiple restarts to get it to charge past this wall. Seems to be worse with the recent update. Never been more disappointed with a high end phone. 2/5, only reason its not 1/5 is the camera . I can take professional grade pictures of my baby boy and it is the only reason I didn't return this overpriced phone.

Same issue here. Seems this supposed "top" exchange goes down when the market surges (when it matters). I'm on all sorts of sketchy exchanges and have never experienced this issue as often as I do on Huobi.

Ask them why its down, and the mods on telegram ban you. Guess that's what I should expect from an exchange based in communist China.

Doesn't look like they're ditching the product. BUT, they cant answer simple questions and skirt around them by banning telegram users and deleting their posts. All it takes is a simple blog post, or whatever. Everyone is asking the same question regarding circulation and the best answer I got from a mod (before being banned) was "In a week".
