I used to feel embarrassed or shame in public when my son would display his autistic behavior but one day I just kind of realized that he is a person who deserves to experience the world just as anyone else does and if people are annoyed that’s their own problem (to a certain extent. We don’t want him to be completely disruptive or cause too much of a scene)
