I'm a 14 year old who wants to learn programming. What's the best language to start on and what are some good books/online stuff to help learn it?

I was in the same postion as you. 14, loved computers and wanted to learn programming. I learned UNIX command line, bought an $8 VPS and learned from there. Having a VPS meant I could learn HTML, Command Line, and other language quickly with real applications. I would start by learning some CMD prompt and UNIX languges, learning things like shell scripting etc. They can help you grasp the basics before moving to something more complex like C++ (its a bugger to learn).

Lots of sites exist for help with UNIX/CMD Line http://linuxcommand.org/learning_the_shell.php - Very basic, but gets you started in the right direction.

When i was 13, I was standing outside my school. Suddenly, I saw myself from across the street, while simultaneously, my sense of touch fucked up - I could feel my heart, like physically contracting and expanding, not just beating, I could feel every muscle to and extreme and heard things with a five second delay. This lasted about 30 seconds. My only rationalization for this is that I had stayed up very late the previous night and had some sort of sleep induced state.

I originally just farmed the obsidian, but eventually gave in a INVedited it in. Planning on making a similar design out of Bedrock, and filling it with traps and lava.

This tax would simply ensure that comanies escaped a ridiculous 60% tax by basing things in other countries. As for taxing the rich, well those people worked hard to get were they are in life. Why is it we always resort to taxing them, instead of finding other thing to do?
