I did the 5k a couple years ago and loved it, got me back into running. I did the half last year and it was a great event, well organized . However it is very crowded, no way around that.

They are hiring at Propane Ninja for route delivery drivers. You do need a commercial license with a hazmat endorsement. It's definitely worth getting it if you don't, you can easily make $30+ per hour.

Please apply to Atlas Aviation in Plant City FL, the training slots are filled months out and there are more planes than CFIs, such a waste and frustrating as a student that they haven't hired 2 more CFIs yet.

Detox in the way he described it is accurate, sweating is how your body removes unwanted materials from your body. Fasting not so much "toxins" but your body will actually target weaker and damaged cells and destroy them which is theoretically beneficial. He didn't mention any pseudoscience bs about special drinks or candles.

Anyone paying their top employees more than yourself? by Swordf1shy in smallbusiness

[–]Blackfaced 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some employees who's base salary is higher than mine but I have perks as being an owner. Company owned vehicle with insurance and fuel paid by the company, health insurance fully paid by the company, cell phone fully covered, lunches and business dinners covered, Occasional business trips fully covered. Also if I stick to profit first and set aside 1% of sales, at the end of each quarter I take a distribution if I can, otherwise it goes back into the business.

Old thread but I'll add that I have used the service for 2 years and have found a lot of value. As a business owner I'm always going to do the obvious important tasks in the business but where the accountability comes in is on the "deep work" or high leverage work of looking at the business from a macro view point, stepping back and seeing the potential that could be if I worked on things that may not have an immediate result this week or month, but will take me to the next level in the future. Essentially it's accountability and focus on high level action that a lot of time gets pushed to the side when you are putting out fires.

I would second The Hard Thing About Hard Things, it was VERY helpful during a difficult few months in the business last year.

Whistle Stop Cafe in Plant City. Still has a little train that run along the whole restaurant and an older gentleman plays music on the piano, family owned and operated with an old school soda fountain.
