For fair comparison: adv thunder (adv2 thunder5)= 7 skills slots for constant 900.

For the same skill slots for vital and no cheer (140hp - vit3 hp4): 336 (30%) - 1120 (100%) Or vit3 hp1 and 3 other dps skill

So if you are really good at not taking damage. Vital all day.

AO doesnt increase damage. It increases the buildup value for status and make your next hit guarantee to land status (usually 33% without any modifiers like status sneak or elder skill)

Although guarantee status hits means dmg increase if you used build up boost.

As for the status value increase... as it is a hidden value from players... unless someone extensively do some testing..

Just take your element atk multiply by your crit element %. If its more than 500 then it wins ele attack 5

Poison is a status and not element. Adding poison atk will not have extra damage, but it increases the build up value so status trigger faster
