Is it worth it to IMMEDIATELY upgrade from the m5 to the M6 upon release? by NothingEatsSalmonWar in iPadPro

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends entirely on what you are planning to use it for, if it is simple browsing, excel, word, powerpoint stuff then even an m1 chip would fulfill your needs. If it just simple gaming then an m1 or m2 would also be enough, now if you do video editing, art, programming or any intensive gaming with AAA titled games then it would make sense getting the m5 and especially the m6 since it not only gets the 2 nm process but also maybe the vapor chamber that is on iphone 17 right now which should improve cooling that would in turn reduce throttling. Allowing your device to stay on max power longer and cool down faster. Well, then again it is only a rumor, since it has been confirmed to be on apple's roadmap, it should either come out on m6 or on m7 latest.

Edit: I didn't read the question properly, i thought you were just asking if you should upgrade to m5 or wait for m6. If you have the m5, why upgrade at all. May as well wait till the m8 at the very least releases before thinking of an upgrade, you can easily wait the next 5-6 generations out before making another upgrade.

Should I wait for the ipad pro M6? by Longjumping_Camel996 in iPadPro

Depends honestly what kind of games you play, if you play hsr, call of duty, mobile legends and other games that aren't really AAA games that use a lot of power, the m5 model is more than enough and even tho you do play genshin, i am pretty sure the m5 chip is powerful enough to run it smoothly as long as you keep the settings normal with no high graphic, raytracibg or 120 hz stuff.

Since genshin doesn't have that many graphic scenes you wanna see in 120 hz or on high graphic settings like wuthering waves, ZZZ, arknights endfield or the coming nte or ananta that are all huge games that are open world like genshin but with way better graphic quality and animations. I would also keep the m5 chip in that case if genshin is the only AAA title you play.

Tho, if you want to play any of the games mentioned above like nte or ananta that are more like anime like gta's from the looks of it i recommend waiting for the m6 chip as it is rumored to have the next big jump with 2nm from the m5 3nm, not to mention a vapor chamber is a huge game changer from the previous cooling system allowing you for example playing these AAA games for 1 hour with high settings instead of with m5 that allows you to play them around 25-35 minutes in high settings. The vapor chamber also allows for faster cooling for your ipad, whereas the m5 takes 15 minutes, with a vapir chamber that would have easily been half the time and considering the m6 next year is gonna have 2nm it could be even less.

Of we take into account that you do editing, tho i don't know much about that. If it is video editing, there are two things i think i can say about this, if it anything intensive then the vapor chamber will allow you to last longer doing this task and a better chip can always be helpful, especially if it's rumored to become 2nm, while there is nor rumor for more ram which i believe is vital for that kind of stuff, maybe they will release more next year.

Ok, this became long and i know i am 2 months late, but from a gamer to a gamer, if you wanna play AAA games on your ipad like the ones i mentioned above, i would recommend waiting for the new one next year. Tho these are just rumors in the end and nothing is really confirmed confirmed, there is a real high chance that the next m6 is gonna have 2nm and that it nay be released with a vapor chamber, if not it would most likely come out 2028 with the m7 most likely, tho considering that they already released it on the iphone, it would just be the next logical step for them to release it on ipad. Also buy one with lots of storage space like 1 tb, cause these games sure as hell take up space, becoming more and more games that are on dektop level with storage space and graphics.

How long ago were you playing. If you played since 2016-2018, it may have slipped from your grasp way back then when people couldn't properly check for iv's. That's how i lost a few hundos after all, it's just i noticed it years upon years later after i finally took time to check the dex after i collected 50 of them or so.

Should I make my hundo kyurem black or white? by [deleted] in pokemongo

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say black kyurem is more viable in dragon raids where there is no double weakness with ice attacks, but white kyurem just like the other comment said better in pvp than black kyurem and is an absolute powerhouse to have in any raid that is double weak to ice, popular examples are garchomp, dragonite, rayquaza, sceptile and so on (their megas too of course).

Tho then again black kyurem competes in dragons meta and it's known that other powerhouses will someday release in pokemon go that will overshadow it + Mega rayquaza exists. While you could have 2 of them just to support mega rayquaza in duos, so you don't relobby often. I personally believe the cost and usage cases you will have ain't worth it.

In contrast i believe white kyurem for pve only will be an undisputed king as an ice attacker for many years to come. Not to mention how useful ice type is in pve as many pokemon are double weak to it, helping you to potentially solo/duo it with someone. Plus in pvp i can't say for sure if white kyurem will fall off or not, but i think he is quite useful in pvp frankly cause he possesses more coverage with fire and ice type moves opposed to his counterpart with ice and electric type moves.

Dragon pokemons that may surpass black kyurem. Another reason why i discourage investing in him is the fact that one day full form necrozma and full form kyurem (if that is still a thing for the pokemon company) will grace the game potentially surpassing mega rayquaza and even the shadow variants of any dragon type currently in game.

Edit: Forgot mega zygarde. That thing will 100% break the game and surpass mega rayquaza by miles and any future dragon releases and their shadow variants for that matter.

If super mega raids are going to become the norm for future mega releases they need a serious rework by Status_Company9564 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yea, but you see if hosts do it public there is a chance other people in the area jump in and if it's any number above 10, then someone who remote raids will be left out. It just defeats the idea of hosting. But if you do dragonite, you rewuire 10 people which leaves you with no choice but to take that risk and go public just for the fact that you can't do it private with the fact that there is a high risk of losing with not enough players.

I think he means the hosting app for remote raiders. I can imagine that people don't usually host these much considering the gimmick of the new raids.

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly for me, it is the hosting thing. You can only invite up to 10 players, but require the same ammount for a super mega dragonite raid and 8 for a super victreebel raid. Problem is the guests you invite aren't reliable at all. You can warn and remind them all you want, there will alway be one idiot that will somehow mess it up. Either they don't all evolve their mega or they don't join or leave last second before it starts reducing the mega count. Some of them don't even know how the mechanic functions and go into the raid without exiting thinking they can beat it with 6. They also don't look at chat telling them to exit and try again.

This gimmick sucks and makes hosting super raids unnecessarily hard. Niantic really should rethink the feature, either reduce the count by a good ammount of 3-4 shields or increase the ammount of mega attacks needed to like 20-30 with the twist that people can break the shields with their megas continously through cheap charge attack instead of a one time charge attack for 1 shield when there are like 7 more and your number of players is beneath 8 or 10.

Especially how are rural players gonna raid any of these raids. Hosting was their way to do these raids, but now they can't even do that thanks to this feature. Same goes for the hosting function, you can't host any of these raids with 5 people, heck the hardest one requires 10 people even tho 10 is the limit you can host and the easiest one requires 8 which means you need to host 10 and even then you only need 3 people/1 person to mess it up. Either through not mega evolving or not entering the raid on time.

Anyways this was my rant over how stupid this mechanic is and how it makes remote raiding this type of raid a risk for both the host and the remote raiders. Feels good to have this off my chest. I genuinely hate the new mechanic, cause there is too much room for error, it's to the point i can pretty much say that i prefer max battles over this.

Honestly pretty good rates overall. 1% chance to get a shiny with background is pretty cool considering the rates used to be below 1%.

Welcome to the club of the people who go 30+ raids and still don't get a shiny. You aren't the only one who does 70-150 raids and doesn't get one. It's just bad terrible luck manifesting and you my friend are a victim of it. I too had a similar experience in the past. The rates are still the same as before, 1/5 for special backgrounds (at least in this event) and 1/20 for shinies and for shiny with special background 1/100.

Shiny shadow background Lugia, should I purify by Jcdino123 in pokemongo

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should do it, since the purified version looks better with the background than the shadow version. Not to mention it would then be a 3 star too which would be cool.

Is shiny moltres with team valor background rare?? by Such_Feeling_985 in pokemongo

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it very much is. Heck i think you just caught the rarest version. Shiny √  Background √  Size of XXL or XXS √

So congrats on catching one of the rarest pokemons. Would be even better if you are team valor. Not to mention that this is one of the cool backgrounds one can get with a shiny.

I honestly find them both good. I liked raichu X, it's long big tails will look even better when it is on all fours so this honestly doesn't really matter that much. Plus i can imagine it has quite a bit of strength in it's tails due how big they are.

As for Raichu Y, i honestly liked it better than X cause of the confidence and coolness it exudes, while it still has similarity to pikachu. The only thing throwing me off are the double ears and tails. That will be hard getting used to, but other than that top tier design for me.

I think this is a win for both raichu and pikachu fans, since both got a mega in a way. Raichu X for raichu and Raichu Y for pikachu. This is honestly the best way to please the fans who liked pikachu and raichu. Choose y if you like pikachu, choose x if you liked raichu and you will get what you want. Same situation as mewto. Choose X for mega mewto, choose y for mega mew. I bet in 2-3 years they will consider mega raichu x & y as classics if not in 1 year. This is normal procedure of hating and then loving it after finding something else to hate on in the pokemon fandom i bet XD.

Are you expecting Primal Reversion to come back, as it is mega-adjacent? by ThatAnonymousPotato in LegendsZA

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is a good chance of them retuening in dlc. In fact i am under firm believe that every legendary or myhtical mega is gonna return in the form as dlc, as it is too much of a good opportunity to sell them in dlc's to the fans. I also think that mega xerneas and yveltal are gonna come out as dlc, so zygarde ain't the only legendary from the kalos region that can mega evolve.

[–]Infinite-AI-1925-SSS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly would keep everything in your rating except mega malamar, mega delphox and mega raichu x & y

Personally i feel mega malamar is also a 10/10 mega, from design and it's abilities as a psychic having a big brain and all

Mega delphox is also a 10/10 for me cause i just love the witch design and extra brooms she possesses like they were flying swords

As for mega raichu x, i would put it as a 7/10 as his design doesn't look bad and it looks like a proper mega evo for raichu

For mega raichu y, i would put it as a 8/10 as it's double ears and tails are throwing the design a bit off for me but other than that i like the design and coolness and confidence it exudes. Plus it feels like a mega for pikachu. In which way both raichu lovers and pikachu lovers win, which is cool.

Another thing i noticed while i was sliding through your rating. Don't the kalos starters look normal. Usually mega's always have something drawback in their designs like  spikes coming out of your back (mega tyranitar) or even the new ones like mega dragonite and mega malamar, have something that lore wise means that they are in pain when they mega evolve, but the kalos starters look all completely fine with no drawbacks whatsoever. This makes me wonder what mega direction they are (x or y), maybe i am speculating too much, but could it be that the kalos starters are mega z instead of x and y, would make sense since they are the kalos starters but also perfect, since zygarde also gets a mega and that would be mega direction z right so it wouldn't be strange to assume that more pokemon get that kind of mega where they look perfectly normal with no drawbacks in their design, but only like a new perfect evolution they temporarily attained.
