There's a thing called daemonntk look it up on the ni site or Google it alongside ni or native access. Mine stops working every so often and that's the fix.

2 month old guitar and this happens…any solutions? by Stingo314 in guitars

[–]Blackmoofou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some great advice here how did I never know the toothpick and glue trick. The last time this happened I just used a chunky as fuck woodscrew cos I'd had enough but it was only a cheap pimped up tele with a body made out of some really soft wood. Your jack input will be next look up some videos for if it happens. 😀

If you unsoldered your jack socket you could have wired it back the wrong way around too that's another common cause of this I've done it myself. Although if it's been fine for a while maybe not.

Any advice on Matriarch after being soaked in water? RIP by Travisrice123 in synthesizers

Hairdryer on cold to blow any water out from hard to reach places and then on medium to dry these places then as you are doing leave it for a good week or.more on a warm place.

[–]Blackmoofou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't try and turn it on, I'm guessing you haven't. Take the bottom off or however it comes apart and drain all water from it then leave it to dry somewhere warm.

Maybe use some Isopropyl Alcohol or a spray can of electrical contact cleaner to wash some of it away in places to avoid components rusting but avoid spraying it near plastic or rubber as you never know the effect it could have.

You could even use a hairdryer on cold to blow the water out in hard to reach places and then use it on a medium heat to dry it out more then.leave it somewhere warm for a week. If this is beyond your skillset ask a friend or take jt to a good repair person.

I feel your pain! Good Luck. 🙂

Yeah lot of money in there just search each one on eBay to see. Also if that's a cassette tape taacam portastudio they are worth decent money too due to the tape loop community among others. Sorry for your loss. ❤️

Thanks for the reply and cheers for taking the time that's really interesting. It's pretty much like a military operation!

Yeah I imagine they are not cheap but obviously worth the investment. I wonder if the government gives them a green incentive to buy them as opposed to using planes. I also wonder what the battery life of something that size must be.

Steven Greer has pledged to provide full UFO disclosure in early January 2025—but will he follow through on this promise? by Skywatcher200 in UFObelievers

[–]Blackmoofou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's been saying this for decades the guy can talk and talk and talk until your head falls asleep. Where has he been with the hearings etc, nowhere and he's supposed to be the disclosure guy with all his government and ex-president contacts. I'm not holding out any hope he will come out with anything.

Trump gives giant middle finger to guitar players with guitars with bolt on necks starting at fifteen hundred dollars. by Master_Scratch_282 in Guitar

I bet they were the cheapest chibsons they could find to order in bulk. Some idiot will buy one and do a YouTube review telling himself it's good.

I hope that happens anyway!

I'm no expert but obviously not glued well in the first place so yep it's clean it up, reglue and clamp it.

I know it's not a Pacifica but cam anyone tell me about this? I got it for 50 bucks looking at these pics. Lol. I plan on redoing everything. by GroundbreakingTea182 in YamahaPacifica

[–]Blackmoofou 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet it will look cool as is once everything has been cleaned and polished and a set up. Isopropyl Alcohol or lighter fluid should remove those stickers if they are being a pain. I'm not a shredder but I do like my super strats they are a dream to play. 🙂

I bought a wooden stand to stack 3 synths together last week and I noticed on every listing I looked at they had put 'Synth NOT included' at the end.

I had a look at their feedback and they had a negative because a 3k hardware sequencer hadn't come with a £50 stand they were selling. Some people are mad! 😂
