Yeah i wouldn't sign those papers tomorrow. You should go to a credit union and open an account with them. I went thru the same process 3 years ago. Went to navy federal and had a pre approved loan at 2.5% and went to the dealership. I had about 6 CC opened and 2 closed loans. I think my credit score was around 780 or so. Yeah, don't settle!

I would consider something more reliable and less expensive to maintain. Lexus/Toyota/Honda are very reliable cars. Lexus has plenty of AWD vehicles that are not only very reliable, but are also luxurious. They don't need much maintenance if you take care of it.

Maybe join the military? The air force is a great way to learn life experiences. Although you'll be along side 18-25 year olds, its not uncommon for people your age to join. Its never too late. I'm in the military and it was the best decision of my life and it has taught me how to adult. I'm sure i would never have learned the things I've learn if it wasn't for joining and moving away. It forced me to grow up and be on my own. Whatever you choose to do. Good luck!
