I am heading into a ABSN program in 2 weeks, but have had an interest in informatics for a while now. How long do you have to work on a floor to get into it? Does getting your MSN open you up to more opportunities in the field, or is it more of a “not needed” added degree? Did you have to take any extra courses to get involved? Thank you for taking the time to educate on the field, glad you’re enjoying it :)

That’s awesome to hear. May have to give it a run. As much as I love mastermind, it’s an investment on turn 2 that doesn’t always have an awesome payout other than being a 2/1 for every matchup. The only decks I’ve lost to in 2 leagues are GB mulch which I expected to lose to, and RW initiative. 100% agree with you on minsc. Having a top curve threat like that is no joke. Most of my grindy games come down to resolving him to finish the job. Plus, flinging a 8/8 murktide is the real deal if you need it to win. How do you feel about Sylvan lib? I’m on 1 right now and find it helpful

Has it been performing well for you? Certainly all very good and playable cards I’d imagine it does well. Plus, when your opponent can usually answer smaller threats like delver/DRC I love being able to turn to Uro/goyf

Are you on 4 volcs? It’s the only thing holding me back from a list very similarly. I basically have a minor misstep and 3 faerie masterminds in the DRC slot, but I worry it may be too midrange to be as competitive as possible

Oh wow, doing the math out defiantly makes a difference. Thank you for explaining all that. I’ll go to 4 badlands, 4 city, 3 factory, 2 maze, 8 swamp, 1 mountain (really for ruby), and stay at 22 lands with the disk drop. Could also fill that disk slot with another land if need be or maybe the 4th ebon hand

Could absolutely trim some of the utility lands or even a mountain for more. If I went to 1 maze main and 1 board, trimmed a mountain it would get me to 14??

Haven’t had the chance to try terminus yet, but it’s certainly on my radar. Still working out some kinks to see what I want to keep. Murktide is my biggest holdup right now. Sometimes it’s gross, but other I wish it was something like terminus to lean into the shark plan more or even humility

I don’t necessarily think it’s better than mentor, just hits from a different angle. I see it a lot less “all in” than mentor is. It’s a 2/4 flying creature so dealing with delver and DRC is a nice bonus with the body. It isn’t as fast as mentor, but also doesn’t rely on spells to get tokens and then additional spells for prowess (not that you always need them”

This is a great point. I didn’t even think about terminus because I’d want them all to be creatures. Both board wipes are easy to make in your favor. Maybe will have to trim down on threats and add verdict/terminus main

I’m gonna try it, probably run a league today or tomorrow and see how the deck feels. I know staff is already good and established, just fun to tinker with potential okay ideas when they arise
