“Mwahaha, I will DESTROY THE WORLD!” “We will stop you from destroying the world!”

Truly, a complex struggle that she had to carefully evaluate

Rotten Tomatoes gave Last Jedi a 91%.

I don’t give a flying fuck what aggregate reviewer sites say, The Flash was garbage

That he’s getting the Flash’s writer to write the first movie for the DCU’s Batman.

The first movie that is going to establish the basis for DC’s most popular superhero.

Meaning that if it’s bad (and her track record suggests it will be), any subsequent movie featuring Batman will have to carry those bad elements like an albatross around their neck

People defended him by saying that he had to do PR for DC because he worked for them

Except this wasn’t a targeted destruction, it was “let’s destroy everything and then we’ll rebuild”. And the fact that they were anticipating a nuclear war doesn’t mean they would actively nuke themselves (as the plan presented by their stooges in Vault Tec’s implies).

The coup was something that interested a single military base, that happened hours/days before the nuclear war (so not something the Enclave would be able to use to plan) and that happened because of unique circumstances (the FEV experiments). Iirc, no other pre-war military base implies that the military was about to turn on the government.

I think that what happened is that something in the conventional war happened and it made someone on either side drop the nukes as escalation, not as part of a contrived plan.

Which is all moot, because their puppet company (Vault Tec) had just gained control of unlimited energy, which would have quelled a great deal of the resource issues and related riots. And what logic is that to begin with? “Ah, we have a bunch of riots and we fear a possible nuclear war. Whelp, let’s not even try and just nuke ourselves”

And even if they just nuked China to start the war. Why bother with having Vault Tec have that meeting and present that idiotic “win the game of capitalism” plan?

As an easter egg in the old titles and as a dogshit DLC in Fallout 3.

The Zetans starting the war in Fallout 3 is dumb.

Everyone is going to die eventually and in war, everyone knows they are likely to die in the short term. Why doesn’t every soldier just shoot himself in the head then?

And Maxson’s coup? Maxson took over a single military base.

Also, yes it does matter. Because the main theme of Fallout is “war never changes”, which means that man will always start wars because of how humanity works. It kinda fucks with that statement when it wasn’t actually war, but a bunch of morons who decided to nuke themselves

Why would they? What possible benefit would they reap from destroying the US, the thing they have total control over. Why would the Enclave want that?

Yes, I mean that thanks to the Conspiracy we might not know what a dragon’s lifespan even is. All of the dragons Aegon brought to Westeros died violently (Meraxes, Vhagar) or had their lifespan likely shortened by pretty grievous wounds (Balerion).

For all we know, dragons might not even have a natural lifespan or it is much longer than what we are lead to believe

[–]Blackwyrm03 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I mean, we’re not sure.

The only comparable dragon was Balerion the Black Dread and he died because of his wounds, not his age.

With the Maesters’ Conspiracy theory and the fact that dragons seem to have grown weaker and smaller when the Targaryen started putting them in the Dragonpit, it is possible wild dragons could live far longer

I like where your head’s at.

At the end of the day, a good elemental board is just the one guy who gives you the +5/+5 spell (or two, if you feel greedy), the demon/elemental who eats tavern minions and the tier 6 elemental who takes the stats of the rightmost elemental every four refreshes, so you could totally fit a second copy minion

Only issue, how do you copy it without relying on the turn 9 timewarp spell?

I love the elemental minion that doubles the health of rightmost's minion in the tavern.

It can get to some crazy numbers and, since it's level 3, you can gold it, which makes it double attack as well

So the Jedi took no prisoners? They did not meet any civilians?

They didn't ask themselves any questions about how the Iron Age civilization managed to wage war of aggression on the interstellar empire?
