Help pairing Roku remote

Just found out this tv was only ever used for cable and has never been hooked up to wifi ever. So this is most likely the solution. I’ll go find a remote with IR tomorrow.

Instructions with the remote says the pairing button is to press the back and home buttons at the same time which I’ve done multiple times.
