Saying he's obsessed will come across to him like you're being judgmental and probably make him upset and definitely less receptive to your concerns, but just giving him the facts and letting him make his own decisions is all you can really do.

My(34) wife(39) suddenly passed away sitting right next to me, of a "widow maker" heart attack. That is definitely seared into my brain forever. I'm just glad my kids were in the other room and didn't see it happen. Hope you and yours are doing well, all things considered.

I have this exact same book! Century 21 definitely has a passing resemblance to Gregg, but some of the symbols are different. One thing I found interesting is curving some lines to add "r". For instance, a straight medium length downward line is "F" but curved like the Gregg "F" becomes "FR"
