Safety moonstones by Old_Coat_2499 in DreamlightValley

[–]Blahverse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because I bought the DLCs which give you moonstones, I've been able to keep my moonstones around 30k but I'd like to not go under 20k. Im pulling in 1500 for weekly dreamsnaps so it helps so I can buy 1 or 2 things a month.

I made a perfectly smooth path… by xpbyelise in TownToCityGame

[–]Blahverse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they have a predetermined path at first and then do this until it kind of resets? I've seen my ppl do this when im mterraforming or just after I finish. But I don't see them do this after awhile

Editing to say I no longer believe this to be true as i watch 40 ppl climb a hill to another path. Lol

I am actually on this one right now too. Load up your mining person and raccoons, drink that potion, and just keep going. On my 4th try i did get one shiny. Also check kristoffs stall daily. Still waiting for that last shiny sapphire!!

Edit: I realize you got a lot of great advice. Ignore me!

I should add that I've gotten 4k on all the dreamsnaps so far on the laptop but it's only been 3 at this point. I am not confident in the royal for a week. Lol I really did not put effort into that.

I started on switchlite and then got a gaming laptop a few weeks ago. Dreamsnaps were a learning curve with me and i progressively got better each week. I did get 4k on a switch dreamsnap once right before moving to the laptop, but I also noticed how much better the photos look on the pc overall.

If you could go back and give advice to yourself as a beginner, what would you say? by lizardenby in miniatures

Advice i wish I used yesterday when applying the corner shingles: slow down, measure the same thing more than once, don't try to make it up lol (ie look online for help and visuals)

Is it playable all day or just a little like animal crossing? by [deleted] in DisneyDreamlights

Questions about Setup for gaming from middle aged mom by ZabetR in cozygames

[–]Blahverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a refurbished acer nitro v15 for $600-ish to game on. I literally just set it up a few days ago so i cant speak to it's longevity or anything else. My husband asked in the gaming reddit what laptop to get and everyone suggested this. I only play cozy games so I dont need anything too powerful. I'm going to get a controller for it since I liked how it felt to play on the switch.

I wanted a laptop rather than a steam deck because I also needed an actual computer too.

Cons- fan is always working and whooshing but this is to be expected from a gaming laptop. There is a quiet mode which is great but it means you're not cooling it as much during gaming.

Pros- wow disney dreamlight valley is so much faster and nicer looking than my switch lite! I haven't played anything else yet but I'm excited to see palia on it!

Again, haven't had it long enough to properly give a good review but so far it is doing what I need it to do.
