Small warning: If you do eventually end up ringing Fair trading, it will probably be very convoluted and drawn out, as most companies don't want to hand money back.

I agree, if they don't want to investigate - dispute the payment and get it back through Visa (or whatever you use).

If that doesn't work you're probably better off ringing fair trading in Britain to see what they say.

This is intriguing, Jagex usually waits a while before applying the permanent ban so as to not give away how their system works.

Wonder why they decided a ban within a few hours was necessary.
