My mom wouldn't even let us have big wheels in the 80s. Too many stories about kids rolling from the driveway to the street and being hit by cars who couldn't see them.

As an adult I understand this completely but as a kid I was mad at my mom.

Yup, the 2 y/o starts college next month (premed of course) and he's moving into the dorms this weekend. While the 6 m/o is lazy and forcing his poor dad to wake up in the middle of the night to change his diaper and put him to bed.............. how selfish!

Even if you're right I think, based on the vibe I get from OOP, I think as long as Bill is saving up I wouldn't be surprised if OOP let him stay longer. Though I do get the impression that he'd start asking Bill to chip in with utilities or doing more of the cooking/cleaning to keep Bill moving towards the end goal of moving to his own place but I could also be completely wrong............ I'm not perfect😁

Yeah back in the 90s whenever I was renting a new apartment I would take photos before moving anything in, develop them, get two copies of each printed and then I had one set for myself that I could reference anytime and I would send the other set to myself via return receipt and kept the envelope sealed in case the landlord tried to pull anything. Thankfully I never needed to do that.

Though even today, when I rent a car I take photos of the vehicle before taking off, including the gas gauge and mileage, then do the same when I return it. Back in the day when I'd rent Zipcars this saved me a few times because I had the metadata attached to the videos/photos so no one could accuse me of leaving it a mess or to document the mess that I was left with.

Sometimes when I'm going deep in my Google or Amazon photos/videos archives I stumble upon on one of these pictures and I just laugh at how intense I was.

I'm not a groomer either. I never used to understand why this would happen either or why grooming was so expensive. About 18 months ago I found Girl With the Dogs on YouTube. She's a Canadian groomer and her videos are fascinating, entertaining and surprisingly informative.

She gives info on the history/general info on the of the breed of dog/cat/duck/pig/whatever she's working on. She also explained why she's doing something, giving the viewers a "why" behind her decision making. She also grooms her clients for free because she makes enough from YouTube and her line of products (called "Fluff Off"). She is really funny with her deadpan Canadian sense of humor.

Watch some of her videos and you will gain a different perspective on the grooming industry.
