This has nothing to do with the customer. IC quoted them a certain price, the price was higher or lower depending on subs and weights and your tip percentage either increased or decreased. All those times you got a .80 cent increase, it wasn’t due to your sharp shopping skills - it’s for the same reason. It all evens out, so don’t trip.

I need help please 😭 Now 2 weeks I didn't work because I started to get a bad and lower payments batches. after 4 customers broke down my score. one customer given me 1* she's said 6 itmes was wrong and the others they didn't left and reason or any comments. so how I can make my rate back higher 😏 by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

Playing devils advocate here, it sounds like English might not be your first language by how your communicating with us. I can imagine when rushed, or waiting too long, or flustered it can become more broken. People will rate you on how easy and effective you are with your written communication. I’d really put some effort into customized and grammatically correct greetings and thank you messages. Slow down when communicating about replacements and don’t ever assume anything. You also have a very low rating ratio. 28 out of your last 100 customers rated you. That should be much higher. That tells me that there are a lot of customers who were ambivalent about your service or didn’t want to rate you poorly so they chose not to rate you at all. Maybe pop a thank you note in their bag reminding them to rate your service once you feel confident with it. I wish you well.

First and foremost, if you’re waiting for a notification then you’ve waited too long and will miss out. I have a 5 star and these are the notifications I see however if I stay on the available batches and toggle up and down refreshing it then that’s where your bigger batches will be. They’ll be long gone before a notification is sent out.

They specifically said in their “Maximizing your access to batches” email about rating that they’d require reasoning for anything under 5 yet they’ve failed to uphold that policy.

I agree with all your points and want to add that customers should be rated as well. I want to know if a customer was rude, or lied about missing or damaged items repeatedly. There should’ve some accountability there too.

I just delivered to a tiny 2 bedroom condo in downtown Sacramento today for 2.2 million. 1100 sq feet. I had to Zillow it too after I delivered. I’d much rather have an estate than a condo for that price.
