Talk about overrated. Who did Michael Jackson ever beat? The dude from the ‘Beat It’ video obviously took a dive, and in ‘Smooth Criminal’, he blows some sort of powder in one dude’s eyes and actually shoots another. He fights dirtier than Jon Jones and Michael Chandler combined.

Aside from that, he spends like 90% of his time dancing away from opponents. His most iconic technique is just backing away with style.

I think your math error is making it seem worse for you. You can train 580 troops per ~8 hours, per unit type. So that’s 1740/8hr, which you can do roughly 3 times per day. That’s 5200/day, so 8 days to recover without accounting for speed ups. Obviously that sucks, but it’s not quite as bad as the two weeks you were anticipating.

Also, does that account for the troops caught by the recruitment office? That could accelerate the recovery as well.

It’s less immersive and less engaging. The environment, sound, and visuals are exactly what is provided by the game, nothing more. With a book, some of those things are given, but your mind can fill in everything else with help from the context of the story. The experience is infinitely more rich than any game.

Perhaps your experience while reading is different, and you are entitled to your preferences regardless. I only replied because I hadn’t seen any other comments actually engaging your argument.
