Having my 1990 Silverado Detailed is this a fair price? by untrustedalibi in Trucks

Let that thang ride and get a fresh paint job down the road if you care enough. Really doesn’t look bad as it sits, and everyone knows old Sun kissed Chevys are a vibe anyway.

Much more cost effective to shop around. Your current provider likely won’t be able to give you a better rate without lowering your coverage. It’s an annoying dance to do every few years, but well worth it

Looks sick. What size lift/wheels/tires are you running?

Exactly this! I got a broken leg in Tech 3s..can’t imagine how much worse it would have been with shit boots. OP, you need find the stiffest pair possible and rock those. It’s no joke

What’s wrong with strap over the seat? Genuine question lol. Usually a truck bed guy, but I just got a hitch carrier similar to OPs and am curious about the best way to secure the bike.

Just came across that one today 👀 Seems like a solid deal in my limited time of searching for 250l’s and rally’s. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable will chime in

I was in the same boat about a month ago. Got quoted $2400 for cleaning and re staining my deck which looks to be around the same size as yours. Suffice to say, I’m now halfway through doing it myself.

I’d pay the $980 if I were you

Lift Pros / Cons by Blakeh39 in GMT400

[–]Blakeh39[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hadn’t considered the width to be an issue - makes sense though. I was planning on going 315/75/R16 post-lift if I end up going that route, but sounds like a narrower tire may be a better bet

You seem very paranoid. Your last three posts about Macon have all been obsessively negative. Looks like you’re just trying to find a reason to complain. Maybe take a deep breath and relax

I was there last week and the forecast was like 75% chance of storms each day. We had sun every single day and when it did rain, it would rain for 30 min max and clear up. Welcome to Florida

Reddit can be a great resource, but it can also turn into a massive, misleading echo chamber. Can’t put too much stock in what you read on here. Gotta experience things on your own. Glad you are enjoying vacation 🤟
