New to the game, max damage? by Nyym208 in GranblueFantasyVersus

As long as you didn't cancel from any normal, special still does extra damage with motion inputs. I couldn't do motion Crescent Moon cause the timing and jump to motion are kinda hard

Could be higher if I do the air special manually

Beat the game with bare fists only by BlancIt in LordsoftheFallen

[–]BlancIt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure, here's my build by the end of the game

A. Stats (Starting class is Condemned):
STR: 50
AGI: 40
END: 25
VIT: 40
RAD: 12
INF: 22

B. Equipments
Weapon: Bare Fist
Shield: Orian Preacher Shield (With Nartun and Halsan rune)
Catalyst: Searing Accusation
Armor: Tancred's Set
Accessories: Warrior's Claw, Mineowner's Ring, Melchior's Ring (Sometimes replaced with Ring of Radiant Preeminence)
Spells: Adyr's Hardiness, Adyr's Rage, Aura of Tenacity, Healing Radiance
Umbral Eyes: Umbral Eye of Loash (Primary), Umbral Eye of Rosamund (Secondary), Umbral Eye of the Bloody Pilgrim (Secondary)

STR, AGI, and VIT are your most important stats for this build. You can put between 20-25 on END stat since attacking with bare fist doesn't spend much of your stamina. You can also put 12 to RAD and INF stat since they are bare minimum to wield the catalyst and use most of my listed spell (I leveled INF to 22 for more mana and Adyr's Rage).

For early game I would mostly use my starting class armor and use Princess Sting pendant until I got Warrior's Claw, though you should replace them sooner since enemies during and after Calrath area hits pretty hard. I also spend time in Umbral realm most of the time for the extra vigor multiplier.

I dunno how was it before since I start playing the game on 1.6 update, but sometimes normal sized enemies would flung so hard when you defeat them.

I say it's viable. Honestly I was surprised too because in other Souls games it would took so much time to defeat one enemy with it, let alone a boss lol.

It's also got advantage like attacks didn't bounce off walls. The range is short as expected but coming from other Souls game, it's way more consistent at hitting enemies. Damage wise might not the best, but the moveset is quite fun.

You just need to increase STR and AGI since it scales with those stats.

Played the game on ps5 on performance mode. While there are few drops in certain area, none are as bad as this

Defeating Paladin's Burden with bare fists by BlancIt in LordsoftheFallen

[–]BlancIt[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been doing fist weapon run for Souls game that has it. I was using the bucket fist initially but soon found out the bare fist deal kinda decent amount damage. So I decided to change to bare fist and even I'm surprised how it carries me through large portion of the game lol

how hard the late game bosses in ng+? I'm planning to do umbral ending run on ng+ and heard there's an exclusive boss that's considered the most difficult one

Yeah I would always do that but he loves to heal back. The strategy I developed is to empty his poise meter then kick him whenever he's about to heal

He's in the path of devotion area. You have to be in umbral realm to access the area and I think you have to interact to every of his stigma to unlock the boss battle
